Thursday 26th October 2017, 7.30 pm.: St Paul's Cathedral, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. In the breath taking setting of St Paul’s Cathedral John Rutter conducts the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra in a rousing programme including Fauré’s glorious Requiem, featuring The Bach Choir, and the London premiere of Visions – Rutter's new work celebrating heavenly peace: written specially for solo violin, string ensemble and boy choristers.

Bookings now being taken for the LPO concert at the Royal Festival Hall on Friday 24th November. Programme – Vivaldi: The Four Seasons, Kabalevski: Spring and Glazunov: The Seasons. Conductor Marius Stravinski with Pieter Schoeman violin. Cost £32 inclusive of coach and gratuity. Last date for booking 10th October.
Booking is also open for the Christmas Classics concert by the Philharmonia Orchestra at the Royal Festival Hall on Sunday 10th December (matinee). Cost £34 inclusive and tickets are sure to go quickly. Last date for booking if seats remain is November 6th

Overnight tour, December 4/5th 2017


York Minster
We take in sights such as the City Walls and the Shambles, followed by a visit to the Minster, the largest Gothic cathedral in Europe. We can also enjoy the Christmas Market.
Day 1. Travel to York by coach - The afternoon is free to spend at leisure in York, and you may choose to visit the National Railway Museum or explore York Castle Museum with its recreated Victorian street, Kirkgate.
Day 2. Morning - Blue Badge Guide Tour of York and the Minster - free time afterwards until we return around 5pm.
