The Group visited the Lodge (the RSPB headquarters) in Sandy in May. We spotted some Hobbies and got good views of a Buzzard during a walk across the very varied landscape of the reserve in excellent weather. Some members took advantage of the opportunity to stock up on bird paraphernalia at the RSPB shop.
Our June trip takes us from Waterford to Watton along the River Beane and we have plans to visit Tring Reservoirs and the King’s Meads. The group maintains a record of its sightings on the British Trust for Ornithology website and has a bird guide and binoculars available to members without access to them.
