Hertford & District u3a A.G.M

The AGM will be held on Thursday 20th March at 2.00pm at Sele Farm Community Centre. Refreshments will be available. Please note that this meeting does not include a Speaker talk. This AGM is held separately from the Monthly Meeting.

The final agenda will be available on the website from Friday 28th February and at the AGM, together with copies of the Annual Report and Accounts. These can also be found on Members Area/Documents page of the Hertford u3a website using this link.
Nominations have now closed for the Executive Committee and matters to be raised under “Any Other Business” must be notified to the Secretary in writing no later than 21 days before the meeting (27th February 2025). You will shortly receive an email notification with a link to the online voting form. You can also CLICK HERE to vote. Votes must be submitted, either online or by post, by Wednesday, 19th March. Paper copies of the voting form will be available to complete at the start of the AGM meeting.
Advance votes are crucial as they will be counted as part of our quorum even if you are not present at the meeting, allowing us to carry out the AGM's business. In accordance with Charity Commission rules, we need a quorum of 10% (at least 142 members) to have registered their vote otherwise the AGM will have to be reconvened three weeks later.
