7th April 2025: William French - “What the Butler Saw”
William is a retired Butler who was a Butler to the Royal Family and film stars for over 40 years. William French, also known as “William the Butler” started his career in the Royal Navy at the age of 16. He served on the Royal Yacht “Britannia“ as well as going to the Falklands War aboard HMS Battleaxe. After leaving the navy, he worked as a Butler for several families including the Rothchilds, for Lord Rothermere, for a Saudi Prince and for Nicole Kidman.
